It's not officially summer until the white tents spring up on the Library's lawn in June to signal the start of Summer Reading. For the past 11 years, the Library's Summer Reading Extravaganza, a free outdoor festival, has showcased our region's rich culture and is a great reminder to the community about just how integral the Library is to life here in Pittsburgh.
