What: Downtown library services will be relocated to Smithfield Street as part of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh's system-wide Capital Improvement Program.
When: The last day to check out books from the existing location on Wood Street is Friday, August 6, 2004.
Where: The new location for Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh - Downtown & Business at 612 Smithfield Street is currently under construction and is expected to open in late December or early January. Until the new library opens, visit any one of the libraries in the City, including these nearby locations:
