Red Herring Book Club: Mystery Book Discussion Group

Main (Oakland)

Join us for lively discussions of your favorite mystery novels. Discussions are free and open to the public. No registration is necessary. We usually have copies of the current month’s book available for you to check out at the Ask a Librarian desk on the First Floor.

Discussions are held in the Graphic Novels Room on the First Floor of the Main Library on the third Friday of the month at 1 p.m. This book group meets monthly from March through November.

The theme for March through July 2017 is Victorian Mysteries.

April’s book selection is The Italian Secretary: A Further Adventure of Sherlock Holmes by Caleb Carr — Legendary detective Sherlock Holmes finds himself on the trail of a murderer whose connections may run all the way up the social ladder to the royal family.
