Sharon F. McDermott is the Associate Director of Outreach and Education for the Center for Environmental Oncology of University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute. A published poet and visiting lecturer of poetry at University of Pittsburgh, she received an artist award from The Pittsburgh Foundation in 2001 and a PA Council on the Arts grant in 2002. Her chapbook, Alley Scatting, was published in 2005.
Barbara Edelman teaches creative writing and literature at University of Pittsburgh. Journals in which her poetry or prose has appeared include Arts & Letters, The Cimarron Review, 5 AM and Rattle. Her poetry chapbook, A Girl in Water, was published in 2002.
