Your Website - A Living Marketing Tool

Wednesday, May 9, 2012
9:30 AM - 12:00 PM

It is critical to develop your website into a live and vibrant source of current information. A nonprofit’s website should make it easy for people to find out more about their cause and become involved.

More than just an information source, learn how your nonprofit’s website can produce a return on your investment – volunteers, donors, event attendance, members, etc. This session will offer basic tips that can be implemented easily to create a process for routine web review and updates that are painless and profitable!

* Please note that this workshop will not cover how to create a website. Attendees should be familiar with their nonprofit’s current website.

The speakers will be:

Diane Wuycheck, a local consultant whose capabilities are built upon 35-plus years of corporate, nonprofit and agency experience in public and media relations, community relations and business development/marketing. Diane has provided strategic marketing, communications and public relations counsel, including web audits and content development, for more than 65 non-profit agencies and small businesses.

Damian Hassan, an award-winning graphic designer and interactive web pro, has designed and developed web sites, online stores and content management systems for a wide variety of clients. Damian has more than 10 years of design and interactive experience, both in agencies and his own design firm, DH Creative, in Pittsburgh.

The fee to attend this workshop is $20 per person, which includes a light continental breakfast and can be paid at the door. Space is limited and registration is required by calling the Foundation Center at 412-622-6277.
