“This I Believe & Beyond” Writing Workshop : Writing a statement of personal belief

In this workshop, participants will be guided through the process of crafting an essay that reflects their most deeply held personal beliefs. You will listen to both essay recordings written in the early 1950s and to more contemporary essays taken from this year’s Allegheny County Library Association’s One Book, One Community selection, This I Believe: The Personal Philosophies of Remarkable Men and Women before writing and then discussing your own statement.
