Creating a Development Plan

Tuesday, June 5, 2012
9:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Your calendar of fundraising activities is not your “Development Plan.” Learn how to construct and execute the various components of an actionable development plan that will increase your fundraising results and make a difference for the people you serve. Learn how to define your constituents and create strategies for each individual constituency. Learn what data to keep, how to analyze it and adjust your strategy in real time. Brainstorm innovative ways to increase giving across each constituency while identifying and engaging key partners. And celebrate your successes!

The speaker, Mary Lee Gannon, CAE, is president of St. Margaret Foundation and has worked as a CEO in the non-profit sector for the last 16 years. She has been involved in programmatic fundraising as well as capital campaigns that have raised from $1.25 million to $12 million. She understands how to have the right people at the table with the right plan, how to maximize diminishing resources and how to analyze the right data for optimum results.

The fee to attend this program is $20 per person, which includes a light continental breakfast and can be paid at the door with cash or checks made payable to Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. Space is limited and registration is required by calling the Foundation Center at 412-622-6277.
