Lorens Chuno’s audiences have praised his sets as energy-filled, inherently captivating, and potentially educative. His sound can be broadly described as Jazz fusion with noticeable West African influences. His warm and dynamic vocal style, along with his bold compositions, helps define his unique sound. This well-trained pianist, percussionist, vocalist, and dancer has played several concerts and festivals, sharing stages with international acts like the Chicago Afrobeat Project and the Sierra Leone Refugee All Stars, and has also recorded with some legendary musicians including Poogie Bell, the Pittsburgh-based Grammy Award-winning drummer.
