Do you love reading, but can't make it to the Library's regular book discussions?
Do Oprah's Book Club selections just not appeal to you?
Would you rather discuss books over a cup of coffee, a glass of wine or a great beer?
Are you looking for new and interesting ways to connect with your Library?
Then Book Buzz might be right for you.
Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh wants to connect with you, where you are. If you haven't thought of the Library as your kind of place for awhile, maybe it's time to change your mind.
What makes Book Buzz different from our other book groups?
We'll still discuss great books and encourage lively conversation. But the books are a little different: edgy memoirs, graphic novels, contemporary horror. And the locations are very different: bars, restaurants and coffee shops in addition to your familiar Libraries.
Book Buzz is even moving BEYOND book discussions. Adult game nights, beer brewing, bad craft nights -- we'll try almost anything once!
