KinderPrep is a series of programs offered to children and their adults in the fall and spring before the children enter Kindergarten. KinderPrep programs provide children with skills they will need and, in an easy-to-understand manner, they also cover information necessary for parents or guardians. Each 45-minute session in the 10-week series focuses on a topic based on Common Core -- Pennsylvania Learning Standards and is supported through books, stories, music, activities, exploration, and play. To extend and reinforce the learning, a take-home activity is distributed to be explored during the week and shared at the following session.
KinderPrep is a fun, interactive way for children, parents and caregivers to prepare for the first year of school!
This exciting program is offered at the Main Library in Oakland. Call and ask for details!
