Allegheny Regional is approximately 1 mile north of Downtown Pittsburgh and is situated near the intersection of North Ave and Federal Street.

Directions from Oakland by Bus:

1. Board a 54C bus at Forbes and Bellefield on the Museum side. (The correct bus should be traveling east on Forbes, and it will turn left onto Craig Street.)
2. Leave the bus at the intersection of Federal Street and North Avenue.
3. Walk north 200 feet. The library is located in the middle of the 1200 block of Federal Street.

Directions from Downtown by Bus:

1. Board a 1A, 1B, 1C at 7th Street and Fort Duquesne Boulevard OR
2. Board a 1D, 1F, or 6A bus on 9th Street at Penn Avenue OR
3. Board a 16B, 16F, 17B or 500 bus on Penn Avenue at Stanwix Street.
4. Leave the bus at the intersection of Federal Street and North Avenue.
5. Walk north 200 feet. The library is located in the middle of the 1200 block of Federal Street.

Directions from Downtown by Car

1. Take the 6th Street Bridge to Allegheny Center.
2. Turn right at the light, left at next light and continue around the square.
3. Make a right onto Federal Street
4. Library is on the right.

Directions from Fox Chapel and Butler Area by Car

1. Follow Route 28 south and exit at East Ohio Street.
2. Stay on East Ohio Street until Federal Street.
3. Turn right on Federal Street.
4. Library is on the right.

Directions from the North Hills by Car

1. Follow Interstate 79 to Interstate 279.
2. Take exit 15, East Street.
3. Stay on East Ohio Street until Federal Stree.
4. Turn right on Federal Street.
5. Library is on the right.

Directions from Route 65 and Ohio River Boulevard by Car

1. Exit onto Western Avenue.
2. Follow Western, then make a right on Brighton Road.
3. Turn right onto North Avenue, then left on Federal Street.
4. Library is on the right.

Directions from Monroeville and the East by Car

1. Take Interstate 376 West to Downtown Pittsburgh, and take Exit 1 to Three Rivers Stadium.
2. Turn right at the light onto Allegheny Avenue, stay in left lane.
3. Turn right at the second light onto Western Avenue.
4. Follow Western, then make a right on Brighton Road.
5. Turn right onto North Avenue, then left on Federal Street.
6. Library is on the right.
