Computer Basics

Are you new to computers? Do you know how to use a mouse or where to find the desktop? Are you uncomfortable using drop down menus, check boxes, and scroll bars? In this class you will learn the fundamentals of a computer and how to use Microsoft Windows. NOTE: This class is designed for those who have little or no computer experience.

Computers Beyond the Basics

Learn more about the details of your computer (hard drive, memory, software, etc.) and how to organize files. Go beyond the basics to become more comfortable using and talking about computers. Prerequisite: Computer Basics or solid mouse, keyboarding, and Windows experience.

Keyboarding 1, 2, & 3

New to typing or rusty in the fingers? This three-session class will cover basic typing skills, from finding your home keys in Keyboarding 1 to basic exercises in Keyboarding 3.

Did you know that your Library offers dozens of downloadable e-books and audio books that work with most eReaders and MP3 players? Access Basics

Learn the basics of Microsoft's relational database management program. This class will cover data tables and data input forms, how to select data with a query and output query results to a table or report.
Prerequisite: Excel Expert Skills class or solid Excel experience.
