These are the results from our March Music Madness Poll, out of four divisions of Rock, Jazz, Pop and Classical: 32 musicians/groups total, 8 in each division.
- First Round: March 7 - 11 - First Round Results

Our Methods
The staff of the Music Department selected the four divisions and the artists within them and, of course, we know Pittsburgh has been called home to many more fantastic musicians than are represented here. Seeding within the four divisions was determined by when the performer or group's career first began so let's see if some young upstarts can challenge Pittsburgh's most venerated music makers. You can find CDs by all of the contenders in the Library's collection.
