Pittsburgh Region

Because in Pennsylvania wines are only sold in state liquor stores, you might want to search for a specific wine to see if the state store carries it.

With more than 90 wineries, and approximately 14,000 acres of grapes, Pennsylvania ranks eighth in the nation in wine production and fourth nationally in the amount of grapes grown.

    Travel this wine trail to visit the wineries along the Lake Erie shore.
  • Pennsylvania Complete Guide for Wine Lovers
    A commercial site that allows your to find and special order wines via Special Liquor Order (SLO), a service which enables the PLCB (Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board) customer to place orders for products not regularly stocked in Wine and Spirit shops. Any commercially available wine or spirit from around the world can be obtained through SLO. Currently over 11,000 wines and spirits are in the SLO system.
  • Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board
    Yep, this is where you have to go to buy your wine in Pennsylvania. Use their website to locate the liquor store (called "wine and spirits shoppes") nearest to you. They also have a list of Superstores (up to 5000 products).
