Founded in 1990, the firm’s mission is: to be the inspirational catalyst for non-profit organizational performance, fundraising, growth and overall optimization.

Our experience is vast. Our roster of clients is significant, diverse and geographically dispersed. Our reputation within the philanthropic community is highly regarded. Additional Information

Comments:

ALB is the only Pittsburgh-based member of the Giving Institute (formerly the American Association of Fundraising Counsel), an international association of select leaders in the philanthropic consulting field who adhere to strict standards of practice and an uncompromising code of ethics.

Our strategic focus distinguishes us from other firms. We view fundraising as only one aspect of institutional advancement. We understand the critical linkages among program delivery and outcomes, fundraising, marketing, public and media relations, and the importance of a coordinated and integrated approach to all constituents. Institutional advancement incorporates all of these areas, and we appreciate and value the synergy resulting from effective team work among all.

Our counsel, therefore, takes into account this broader context and, while our services are comprehensive, they are also tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities presented by each client. Although we strive to implement best practices, we recognize the difference between the strategic application of proven techniques and simply imitating what others may have employed elsewhere. Our recommendations and plans not only address the current issues and goals, but also lay the foundation for continued success after the completion of the project.
