Regional Internship Center of Southwestern Pennsylvania
The Regional Internship Center (RIC) of SWPA has been created with the help of the Three Rivers Workforce Investment Board to increase the number of internships and to create a centralized internship system in the region. The RIC actively works with employers, assists them in developing internship programs and connects them to potential interns and regional colleges and universities. -

Duquesne University Undergraduate Research Program
The Duquesne University Undergraduate Research Program is funded by the Bayer School of Natural and Environmental Sciences, the Mylan School of Pharmacy, the National Science Foundation and the departments and faculty of the University. This program is open to non-Duquesne students. -
Magee-Womens Research Institute College Student Summer Internship Program
This program provides students with the opportunity to participate in research projects of either basic science or clinical orientation. The ultimate goal of the program is to promote interest in biomedical research as a potential career. They also offer an internship program for high school students. -
Pittsburgh CLO Internship Program
The CLO (Civic Light Opera) offers internships in such areas as choreography, costumes, direction, lighting design, public relations, stage management, etc. -
Pittsburgh Tissue Engineering Initiative: Summer Internship Program (SIP)
The Summer Internship Program provides paid internships for undergraduate college students who are currently enrolled in or are graduating seniors of an undergraduate program, pursuing careers in medicine, research, bioengineering, computer science, the natural sciences or related fields. -
Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium

Pennsylvania State House of Representatives Legislative Fellowship Program
This 13-week program is open to college seniors and second semester juniors from the 14 state-owned and four state-related universities. Fellows can receive classroom credit and a monthly stipend of $1216 is provided. -
Shaver's Creek Environmental Center Internship Program
Located in central Pennsylvania, this is a program administered by Penn State University and includes housing and a stipend. The goal of the program is to prepare students for a career in cultural/natural history and environmental education professions.
