  • Attack Theatre
    Attack Theatre collaborates with artists from many disciplines to create performances and events featuring elements from many art forms.
  • Dance Alloy Theater
    Offers dance classes to the general public as well as providing multiple avenues of dance performance.
  • Duquesne University Tamburitzans
    America's longest-running multicultural song and dance company, the Duquesne University Tamburitzans is a unique ensemble of talented young folk artists dedicated to the performance and preservation of the music, songs, and dances of Eastern Europe and other related folk cultures. You can also audition for the group if you are a high school senior or college undergraduate.
  • Khafif Middle Eastern Music & Dance
    Khafif, formed in January 2001 after the dissolution of Troupe Ghawazee, performs in a variety of styles. Their dance features steps and moves from Africa and parts of Central Asia, as well as from the Middle East.

  • Laboratory Company Dance (LABCO Dance)
    Laboratory Company Dance aka LABCO Dance is a contemporary dance company dedicated to provide an umbrella for local Pittsburgh artists of varied mediums and diverse communities, for the creation, teaching, and performance of new works of high artistic merit in both traditional and alternative venues.
  • Mary Miller Dance Company
    Mary Miller Dance Company has been performing modern dance and producing outreach in Pittsburgh since 1985.
  • Nego Gato
    Performs Capoeira Angola, a dance form which combines the various arts of music, fighting, dance, theater and philosophy.
  • Pittsburgh Ballet Theater
    The local ballet company which presents the Nutcracker each Christmas plus 4 other ballets each season at the Benedum.
  • Pittsburgh Dance Council
    The premiere presenter of contemporary dance companies from around the world to the Tri-State area. It also provides dance education opportunities for youth and through the Bayer Ticket Fund provides free and low cost tickets to Pittsburgh Dance Council performances for organizations who might otherwise be unable to attend.
  • Pittsburgh Youth Ballet Company
    PYBC is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, and is the performing part of PYB. It is comprised of the Senior Company, Junior Company, apprentices and trainees. The purpose of the PYBC is to give young dancers the opportunity to work with renowned teachers and choreographers, to secure the licenses to perform great choreographic works, and to provide dancers with professional performing experience.
  • Sahara Dance Troupe
    Sahara Dance Troupe specializes in the ethnic dances of Egypt, Turkey, greece and the Arabic regions. Performances range from contemporary cabaret belly dance to traditional, folkloric cane and scarf dances. Gypsy dance with its swirling skirts, upbeat rhythm, and festive tambourines is also an audience favorite. Also offers classes.
  • Slavjane Folk Ensemble
    Representing the Slavic heritage and culture, especially that of the Carpatho-Rusyn region. Slavjane makes its home at the Holy Ghost Church in McKees Rocks, PA and is co-sponsored by the Greek Catholic Union of America (GCU), a Carpatho-Rusyn Fraternal Organization.
  • Srishti Dances of India
    Website of Indian classical dance company, Srishti Dances of India, led by Artistic Director, Sreyashi Dey. Specializes in the Odissi style of Indian classical dance. Acclaimed productions such as Ramayana and Chitrangada in 2001.

    UMOJA is a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of African culture through the public performance of authentic traditional and neo-traditional music, dancing, and storytelling, and through demonstrations and educational lectures and workshops in African heritage, culture, and arts.
  • Wacongo Dance Company
    The WACONGO Dance Company is a traditional ensemble of master drummers, musicians and dancers from the Democratic Republic of Congo, who perform the ancestral songs and dances of Central Africa.
  • Zafira Dance Company
    Zafira is a Pittsburgh-based world fusion bellydance ensemble that performs and also offers bellydance classes.
