PITTSBURGH MUSIC - ARCHIVAL MATERIAL
This group of finding lists provides access to uncataloged archival materials that help to illuminate the musical life of Pittsburgh in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Letters, scrapbooks, music programs, music manuscripts and more provide evidence that musical activity in the city was vibrant whether at the professional, educational or amateur level.
These materials are housed in the Oliver Rare Book Room which is open Monday - Friday 10am - 5pm. Appointments are recommended. Call 412-622-1932 or e-mail oliver@carnegielibrary.org.
