- Notice: To the Public, from George H. Wilson – announcing the March series of Walter Damrosch’s operas and requesting the public’s support. First paragraph: “At this time when the art of music is being considered seriously in Pittsburgh, with existing organizations in the field of orchestral and choral music that have already set a standard that has made our city respected, there remains only the field of opera to round out our musical season.”
