Recommended for grades K-2
Musical tastes certainly change from generation to generation! For hundreds of years, classical music was considered the popular form of music. Students participating in this program will learn about different musical instruments and famous composers through an interactive read aloud and informational text. A hands-on (noisy!) activity is included.

Music and Movement to Soothe the Soul
Recommended for grades 3-5
Life can be stressful! In this highly interactive program, students will learn about various ways to relax throughout the day using music and movement. After an interactive read aloud and exploration of informational texts, students will parctice responding to classical music in creative ways. The second part of the program will focus on movement: simple calming breathing and stretching activities that can be used throughout the day.
