    America's longest-running multicultural song and dance company, the Duquesne University Tamburitzans is a unique ensemble of talented young folk artists dedicated to the performance and preservation of the music, songs, and dances of Eastern Europe and other related folk cultures. Bulgarian

  • Bulgarian-Macedonian National Educational & Cultural Center
    a nonprofit organization whose mission is to preserve, perpetuate and present the rich cultural heritage of the Bulgarian and Macedonian people through exhibits and displays, educational programs for children and adults, and the presentation of cultural programs including performances with the Bulgarian Folk Dance Ensemble "Otets Paissiy" and the Bitov Bulgarian Folk Orchestra.

  • Alliance College Polish Collection at the University of Pittsburgh
    Alliance College was founded "to provide opportunities for Americans of Polish descent to learn about the mother country, its culture, history, and language." It was closed in 1987 and its library's Polish Collection was given to the University of Pittsburgh which has a longstanding commitment to the area of East European Studies.
