• St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral

  St. Nicholas Cathedral, 419 S. Dithridge St., Oakland (between Fifth and Forbes Ave. near the Carnegie Museums). Each May they hold a Greek Food Festival.
  • Greek School
    St Nicholas Cathedral has been offering Modern Greek classes for children for more than 90 years. Saturday morning classes for children run from September to June, with adult classes starting in October and ending in May. The emphasis is on speaking, reading and writing Greek, with Greek culture and Orthodoxy integrated into the curriculum.
