The book Where The Heart Is by Billie Letts is a very humorous and uplifting novel that has even the slightest underlying touch of melancholy. The main character Novalee, not only faces life, but reality to its finest and the challenges it represents. With the main character being a pregnant seventeen year old girl, both loss and characteristics play a key role in the outstanding novel. Some people will really enjoy reading this novel because it is really overwhelming and full of action. It's a book you just can't put down. It was really nice reading about characters who mad mistakes and realized that they are neither perfect nor are they living in a perfect world. This book is good for ages 15 and up. Both genders would enjoy reading this outstanding novel. It's one of those novels you just can't get enough of. This book is definitely recommended to anyone who is interested in reading a very realistic and sophisticated book.
