I would recommend this book. R.L. Stine is a great author. This book is basically about a boy and a girl having to watch their neighbor's cat while they're on a trip. One day the cat ran out the house because they accidentally left the door open. The cat got ran over by a truck. They tried to replace with a stolen cat, but it didn't work out.
