Featuring …

The Whomping Willows

The Whomping Willows is the solo project of singer/songwriter Matt Maggiacomo. Combining an offbeat sense of humor with light political commentary and catchy melodies, Matt has written five full-length albums and two EPs (loosely) from the perspective of the violent tree at Hogwarts. Since the band's inception in October 2005, the Whomping Willows has played nearly 600 shows throughout the United States and Canada. In December 2011, Matt branched out (pun!) and released a new non-wizard album on DFTBA Records entitled When I Was Your Age.

Lauren Fairweather

Lauren Fairweather has been singing her whole life. After graduating from college in May 2010, she finally had the opportunity to dedicate herself 100% to her musical pursuits. Lauren's songs feature catchy melodies over acoustic guitar and ukulele and cover everything from Harry Potter to Firefly to real-life experiences. In addition, Lauren has been a prominent YouTuber since co-founding FiveAwesomeGirls in January 2008. Her personal channel, devilishlypure, has surpassed 22,000 subscribers and has amassed more than 2,500,000 total upload views since February 2006.

Tonks & the Aurors

Tonks & the Aurors is a Wizard Rock band founded in August 2007 out of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Fronted by Steph Anderson, the band quickly gained popularity among Wizard Rock fans and has been extremely prolific in their musical releases. Whether playing as a solo acoustic act or full band, Tonks & the Aurors bring thoughtful lyrics, vocal intensity and excitement to every performance.

Justin Finch-Fletchley

Since 2006, Justin Finch-Fletchley has self-released three full length albums, two live albums and one greatest hits EP of music written from the perspective of a classmate who witnessed most of the events Harry, Ron and Hermione experienced. For the past few years Justin has been touring the United States and Canada performing in libraries, bookstores and clubs - helping to promote literacy, arts, activism and equality. Justin combines wit and insight along with an unbridled amount of passion and energy to bring eager Wizard Rock fans their dose of catchy sing-along Wizard Rock music.

Snidget is the solo project of Grace Kendall, a singer/songwriter with a fondness for melancholy harmonies and haunting melodies. After five years of singing about the saddest parts of the Harry Potter books on her hammered dulcimer, she has branched out to writing all manner of nerdy, twee songs on her ukulele.

I Speak Tree

I Speak Tree is Tianna Mignogna, an 18-year-old singer/songwriter from Pennsylvania. She picked up a guitar at the age of 12 and hasn't put it down since, though she is partial to her banjolele! Growing up, Tianna was involved in musical theater. Nerd rock came naturally to her as her nose is always in a book. Tianna toured in 2010 with The Butterbeer Experience. Tianna's latest musical endeavor is "Fangz 2 Raven," an EP about My Immortal, the Worst Potter Fan fiction ever. Her biggest influences are Tegan and Sara, Mumford and Sons and vegan chili. Tianna's idea of paradise is a cool glass of pink lemonade in the woods within five minutes of a Goodwill store.
