Perhaps you have heard of the It Gets Better campaign that was started online by Dan Savage and Terry Miller. Basically, it’s a bunch of GLBT adults creating YouTube videos telling GLBT youth that, well, life gets better. That despite bullies in the school, despite parents who just don’t understand, despite anyone in your life who is making your life difficult – things will change and they will change for the better. This book is an extension of that online movement and it is awesome.
