The Infernal Devices: Volume 1 by Cassandra Clare

Infernal Devices is about a girl named Tessa that was born between an angel and a human, so she has special powers.  When she is rescued from her kidnapper and her brother goes missing she turns to a group of supernatural demon hunters for help and support.

My favorite characters are Will and Jem.  I like Will because he pretends to be mean but he is really nice and I like Jem because he is super semxy!!!  I enjoyed the plot of the story and the twists and turns of it, but there’s just something that doesn’t make sense to me in that book.  I don’t know what it is it just bothers me…but Jem’s semxiness makes up for it!!!

I would recommend this book to any teen.  It’s pretty good and clean.  Read it all!!!

The Dark Hunters: Infinity Volume 1 by Sherrilyn Kenyon

The manga “The Dark Hunters: Infinity” is about a boy named Nick who lives alone with his mom.  Him and his mom are literally dirt poor and live a hand to mouth life.  Until Nick makes a heroic decision to save an old couple’s life from people he called friends and ends up getting saved by a mysteriously handsome and rich man named Kyrian Hunter.

My two favorite characters…wait no make that three favorite characters, are Acheron, Simi and Nick!  Wow.  What a bunch of awesome people oh or should I say what a group of awesome demons.  Ha! =^.^=

This whole book, no wait, this whole series is freaking awesome!!!  I love how they all connect together!  Wow!  And all the super natural bits are well planned and awesome!  This is a book all teens can read infact all teens should read this book!  It’s freakin awesome!

I really really love this book because it is part of a series that is radical and almost all of Sherrilyn Kenyon’s characters live in the same world so you can see Nick in her other books!  Amazing!!!

Air Gear by Makoto Yukon

Air Gear is a manga about a fantasy world where these skates called ATs exist.  ATs are more advanced roller blades and with them you can touch the sky, but only if you’ve got what it takes!  This story follows a boy named Itsuki and these are his adventures in the world of ATs.  My favorite characters in this book are Itsuki, Ringo and Buccha.  They are my favorite characters  because they never give up and don’t care how people feel about them, plus they are all funny and crazy!

I love, love, love all of the action in this book and all the tricks, craziness, and comedy.  It has all you need!  There is absolutely nothing I don’t like about this book!!

This book has nudity and mild language in it so I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone under the age of 16.  I love this book and hope that others will too!  And for those of you who do I suggest you watch the anime too!

Midnight Alley by Rachel Caine

Claire tells everyone that she has signed her life over to Amelie and everyone is angry at her.  Michael turns into a vampire, and Amelie’s father comes.  I find Michael interesting because he’s a physical representation of their house and a vampire.  I didn’t like how predictable some people were and the vampires were too simple.  I’d recommend this to people who like dramatic books.

The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner by Stephenie Meyer

Bree Tanner lives in a house of vampires and her and another vampire discover that they don’t die in the sun.  Bree is the most interesting character because she is the newest member to their group but is also the smartest and strongest.  I enjoyed how detailed the book gets with every event.  I would recommend this book to vampire lovers.

Goth by Otuichi

This book is about two teens who are obssesed with murder and death and enjoy reading stories about murderers.  They both have run-ins with murderers but always solve the murder before it happens.  I think Yoru is interesting because she has been living her whole life as her sister.  I enjoyed the detail on some pictures but almost everyones face was drawn the same.  I would recommend this book to manga lovers.

Percy Jackson and The Olympians Series by Rick Riordan

These five books are all about a teenager from New York who discovers that he is the demigod son of Poseidon.  Through the books he finds that he is the child of prophecy and that he must take down the titan Kronos.

Percy is the title character who never fails to get a good joke in.  Annabeth is that one girl that you can never really figure out.  The one thing I thought was cool about this series was how Greek mythology was tied into modern-day society.  I recommend these books to everyone, it’s a great series!

Glass Houses by Rachel Caine

A girl moves into a town controlled by vampires and does’nt know it.  She moves into a house that only has three people in it and each person has their own secret.

I found Claire as one of the more interesting characters as she’s only 16 and already in college.  I also liked how the plot was very unpredictable.  I would recommend this series to a fan of very dramatic or dark books or someone that likes vampires.

The Slave Dancer by Paula Fox

This book is about a boy named Jessie who is kidnapped onto a slave ship and then forced to play his fife to the slaves.  Jessie is the main character and I thought that he was really interesting.

I enjoyed that this book showed the story from Jessie’s point of view.  I would recommend this book to a person who likes to read historical fiction.  I thought it was a good book.

¡Tré! by Green Day

This record is more of a mixed bag for Green Day.  Many different songs that have many different tempos. The mood changes for me on this album.  Sometimes, you’ll be happy because of some of the usual fast songs, but some slower songs will make you reflect on your past.

“X-Kid” seems to be popular on the radio.  “99 Revolutions” is Green Day at it’s best.  “The Forgotten” is a mellow piano ballad that will bring long lost memories back into your mind.

Green Day is one of the most successful acts in the world today.  They give their fans three new albums all in one year.  They care about the fans more than they care about themselves!

Great record.  Pick it up and listen to it if you ever get the chance!  You’ll love it!
