Distributing Public Relations Material
at the Library
Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh (CLP) is pleased to provide a channel for the distribution of informational/promotional materials for Regional Assets, registered nonprofit organizations and other marketing partners in our region. To request this free service, please review the Policy & Request Form (revised effective April 2009) and complete the included form. Email or fax completed forms to the attention of:

Completed forms must be approved by the Library's Communications and Creative Services Department before materials are dropped off at the Library Support Center. Unapproved materials delivered to the Library Support Center or any other CLP location will be discarded.
Guidelines*:
- Materials must be of civic, cultural, educational or informational interest and value.
- Materials should not advertise for private or organizational gain, unless the gain is used for the benefit of the community as a whole, such as cultural enhancement.
- Distribution requests will be reviewed every Tuesday by the end of the business day. If you do not submit your request by Tuesday at 3 PM, it will not be reviewed until the following Tuesday. Approved requests will be faxed or emailed back to the requesting party on Wednesday.
- Please allow at least 2 weeks for complete distribution of materials to requested locations.
*Additional guidelines and the request procedure are outlined in the Policy & Request Form.
