The main entrance to CLP – Allegheny at 1230 Federal Street is fully accessible. It features a ramp and fully automated doors.
Parking designated for persons with disabilities is located at 1307 Federal Street, on the first floor of the Alco Parking garage. Parking fees do apply.
Fully accessible restrooms are located at the rear of the Library lobby.

Beechview
The main entrance to CLP – Beechview at 1910 Broadway is accessible and has switch-activated automatic doors.
There is one designated accessible street parking space adjacent to the ramp leading up to the Library’s entrance.

Brookline
The main entrance to CLP – Brookline at 709 Brookline Boulevard. is accessible and the lower level of the Library can be reached by elevator.
There are designated accessible parking spaces along Brookline Boulevard.

Carrick
The main entrance to CLP – Carrick at 1811 Brownsville Road is accessible.

Downtown & Business
The main entrance to CLP – Downtown & Business at 612 Smithfield Sreet is accessible and has an automatic door.
Accessible parking is available in the Mellon Square and Smithfield/Liberty garages. Parking fees do apply. Metered street parking is also available around the Library.

East Liberty
The main entrance to CLP – East Liberty at 130 S. Whitfield Street is accessible via ramp and automatic doors. The front entrance on South Whitfield Street is ramped and has automatic doors. Access from the parking lot on Tamello Way is through the doors adjacent to the outside book drops, and then via elevator to the main and other floors.
There is designated accessible on-street parking on S. Whitfield, and also a public metered lot on Tamello Way.
Restrooms are fully accessible near the front entrance on the main level, and on the second floor.

Hazelwood
The main entrance to CLP – Hazelwood is at 5006 Second Avenue. The Library is located on the top floor of the building and is accessible by elevator. The main entrance at street level and the entrance door into the library are push-plate operated.
Entering the Library parking lot from Second Avenue, there is an accessible parking space to the left. While standard street parking is available, there are currently no designated accessible spots. Library users can schedule Access pickup in the parking lot or on Second Avenue.
Restrooms are straight back from the entrance and fully accessible.

Hill District
The main entrance to CLP – Hill District at 2177 Centre Avenue. is fully accessible. The entrance has switch-activated automatic doors.

Homewood
The accessible entrance to CLP – Homewood is an elevator underneath and to the right of the main stairs at 7101 Hamilton Avenue.
There is one designated accessible parking space in front of the library on Hamilton Avenue.
There are accessible restrooms on the first & second floors. The lower-level restrooms have designated stalls with grab bars.
There is accessible seating space in the auditorium and the stage is accessible as well. Upon request, assistive listening devices are available.

Knoxville
The main entrance to CLP – Knoxville at 400 Brownsville Road is wheelchair accessible via a ramp with automatic doors. The lower level of the Library can be reached by elevator.
There are designated accessible parking spaces along Brownsville Road.

Lawrenceville
The main entrance to CLP – Lawrenceville at 279 Fisk Street is wheelchair accessible via a ramp at the right side and the front door is switch-activated. Once inside, there is an elevator immediately to the right of the front door.
There is one designated accessible parking space in the front of the building, adjacent to the access ramp leading to the front door. Fisk Street is a Residential Permit Parking Street with a one-hour grace period for non-permit holders.
The public restrooms are located in the basement of the building and the keys to unlock them are available from the guard on the main floor.
The auditorium is an open floor plan.

Library of Accessible Media for Pennsylvanians
The main entrance to CLP – Library of Accessible Media for Pennsylvanians at 4724 Baum Boulevard is accessible and features two sets of automated doors.
Accessible parking or ACCESS drop-off is located directly next to the Library on Enfield Street as well as directly in front of the CLP-LAMP entrance on Baum Boulevard.
Fully accessible public restrooms are located on the first floor to the right of the main entrance.

Main Library
CLP – Main has two accessible entrances. The first is via a lift underneath the Library’s main entrance facing Schenley Plaza. The lift is accessible via a set of sidewalk switchbacks to the right of the front steps. There is a switch-assisted door that leads to the lift.
The other way to enter the Main Library is from the library/museum parking lot opposite Craig Street. There is designated accessible parking both above ground and in the garage. From the garage, take the elevators to the 6th floor and exit to the left. Access to the Library is through the Portal Entrance. Once you pass through the glass doors take the left side ramp and make the first right turn into the hallway with the photographs on the wall. Follow the signs for the Library Elevator.

Sheraden
The main entrance to CLP – Sheraden at 720 Sherwood Avenue is accessible through a vestibule. Both the main doors and the door into the Library have switch-activated openers.
Parking is on-street, including a marked accessible spot.

South Side
The main entrance to CLP – South Side at 2205 E. Caron Street is accessible by ramp. The front doors are equipped with automatic door openers.
A fully accessible, single-user restroom is located to the right of the entrance. There is a family restroom available in the children’s area.

Squirrel Hill
There are three access points to CLP – Squirrel Hill.
The first entrance is located at 5801 Forbes Avenue. This entrance is wheelchair accessible through an automatic sliding glass door. The sidewalk is level with the entrance. The elevator to the Library is inside this vestibule.
The second point is located inside the Murray Avenue parking garage managed by the Parking Authority. The Murray Avenue entrance has a ramp that is located on the right side of the garage as you enter. This wheelchair-accessible ramp leads to the same elevator and vestibule as the Forbes Avenue entrance.
The third point of access is via the sidewalk, path, and ramp on Marlborough Street. Ramped vans and/or ACCESS vans can use the path to drop users off right at the entrance to the Library. Please note that the path is not for parking.
Designated accessible parking spots are available in the Murray Avenue lot and on Marlborough Street
Fully accessible restrooms are available adjacent to the Marlborough Street entrance.

West End
The accessible entrance to CLP – West End is via elevator from the parking lot on Neptune Street. The elevator gives access to both floors of the library.
There is one designated parking spot in the Library’s parking lot and there is a public parking lot across the street.

Woods Run
The main entrance to CLP – Woods Run at 1201 Woods Run Avenue is accessible via a ramp to the right side. The main doors are switch-activated, and once inside the foyer, another switch to open the doors into the Library.
The Library has a curb area where ACCESS vans and vehicles with ramps can operate safely. The Library parking lot has one designated accessible space as does the adjacent city lot.
There is a fully accessible, single-user restroom. Please stop at the service desk for a key.
CLP – Woods Run has a book return that is accessible from a vehicle. It is located toward the rear of the building in the Library parking lot.
