Laura N.K. Miller is Senior Associate Counsel for UPMC Health Plan. Ms. Miller joined UPMC Health Plan in 2006 and counsels on a broad range of issues including corporate governance; provider contracting and reimbursement; fraud and abuse; federal health care programs, including Medicare Advantage and Pennsylvania Medical Assistance (Medicaid); as well as general legal and compliance issues.

Ms. Miller received her law degree and a Health Law Certificate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business. Ms. Miller received her undergraduate degree from the Pennsylvania State University where she majored in Science.

Ms. Miller is the Board President of Neighborhood Legal Services; she also serves on the Advisory Board for Girls on the Run and co-Chairs the United Way Bridges Society.  Ms. Miller resides in Point Breeze with her husband and two daughters who love family trips to the Carnegie Library.
