Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh Expands Hours

Effective immediately, expanded hours at all city-wide libraries means more access to books, computers, job assistance, homework help and early literacy resources

Pittsburgh, PA  –   – 

Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh patrons will now have greater access to books and other materials, computers and resources for students, job seekers and families. Starting this week, Pittsburgh library locations will have expanded hours, providing more consistent opening times across the system. These changes are the first in what will be a phased restoration to pre-pandemic public service hours.

In total, library customers will gain an additional 46 hours per week. Hours at CLP – Main in Oakland, CLP – Downtown, CLP – East Liberty, CLP – Squirrel Hill, and LAMP/Library of Accessible Media for Pennsylvanians will remain unchanged.
