WorkLaunch Events Canceled

Pittsburgh, PA  –   –

Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh and the JFCS Career Development Center have canceled all WorkLaunch workshops and programming through March and have canceled the 5th Annual WorkLaunch Career and Community Resource Fair on Friday, April 3.

The JFCS Career Development Center is operating career services remotely on a full-time basis to provide individual career counseling while meeting the workforce needs of the Pittsburgh community by offering resources to better understand unemployment compensation programs and support the many people who may struggle with reduced hours and lay-offs. If you are interested in accessing career services and support, please call 412-422-5627 or email cdc@jfcspgh.org.

Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh is temporarily closed until further notice in an effort to combat the spread of COVID-19 and keep our customers and staff healthy. If you are interested in virtual services, please email jcec@carnegielibrary.org, and someone will reach out to you in the near future.

We apologize for the disruption. Both Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh and the JFCS Career Development Center are exploring additional ways to provide virtual support to groups and individuals through this time.
