The IRA Charitable Rollover

The IRA Charitable Rollover allows individuals age 70½* and older to make direct transfers totaling up to $100,000 per year from a traditional or Roth IRA directly to Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh to have a lasting impact on literacy in our community.

    • The Transfer Process is Simple
    • *You Must be 72 or Older or Have Turned 70 ½ by the End of 2019
    • Your Gift Must Come Directly from Your IRA to the Library
    • Make Your Gift no Later than December 31 to qualify for the tax year
