Second Friday of the month, 1:00-2:00 PM* (October 8, November 12, and December 10) – In Person

- November’s conversations explore Nadine Strossen’s Hate: Why We Should Resist It with Free Speech, Not Censorship
- December’s conversations explore Valarie Kaur’s See No Stranger: A Memoir and Manifesto of Revolutionary Love
Each book will be the focus of conversation on both scheduled Thursday and Friday of each month. Pick the day/time that works best for you.
Note: You only need to RSVP once. We anticipate these events being hybrid so that you can join in-person at the JCC-Squirrel Hill or on Zoom, and we plan to email you the meeting details closer to event.
*Safety for all is our priority; we will follow the guidance of the CDC, the Allegheny County Health Department, and the Pittsburgh Regional Health Initiative and will clarify details with registered participants. Regardless of potential in-person challenges, we are fully committed to hosting the events on Zoom.
