Future of Museums – Beyond the Museums Walls presented by Carnegie Mellon University

December 9, 2021 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Exterior front entrance at CLP-Main in Oakland

Museums are struggling to achieve their goal of servicing society and its development.  To survive, museums must find ways to expand their community segments – embracing those that do not already go to the museum and reinventing themselves to be relevant across social, cultural, economic, and technological changes.  Students were asked to design alternative solutions to reach the non-museum goer and provide memorable experiences that connect them and the museum.  Join us to view their designs!  This event will be held on the Second Floor at CLP – Main.
