The Campaign to Fix Harrisburg – How Unfair Rules Kill Bipartisan Solutions

October 4, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Gavel rests on a judge's desk near their hand.

Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh is hosting a public education program with Fair Districts PA on the importance of reforming the rules in the PA state legislature. FDPA speaker Doug Webster will explain how current unfair rules allow committee chairs to block broadly supported bipartisan solutions (including Redistricting Reform) from getting a vote. He will address the need to reform the rules in Harrisburg and he will discuss ways that organizations and individuals can advocate for change.

Fair Districts PA is a non-partisan coalition of citizens and organizations seeking to reform PA redistricting rules by ensuring that the process is impartial, transparent, and accountable.
