• Explore activities that will foster family engagement and bring guardians and children of all ages together to learn and grow.

One Book, Every Young Child is a statewide initiative that promotes the importance of early literacy
development for children ages three to six. Each April, Pennsylvania celebrates a book whose story
and illustrations encourage children’s imaginations and love of reading to build a community of readers.

These workshops are provided by Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh in partnership with Trying Together.
