Neal Stephenson comes to Pittsburgh with the sequel to his epic techno-thriller Reamde. Fall; or, Dodge in Hell is a wildly inventive and entertaining science fiction thriller—Paradise Lost by way of Philip K. Dick—that unfolds in the near future, in parallel worlds.

Stephenson is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Seveneves, Anathem, Cryptonomicon, and The Rise and Fall of D.O.D.O. (co-authored with Nicole Galland). Often referred to as speculative fiction, Stephenson’s work explores subjects such as technology, mathematics, cryptography, linguistics, philosophy, currency, and the history of science.

A book signing will follow the lecture. A selection of the authors’ books will be available for sale from Classic Lines.

Tickets are required to attend this event. Tickets are $40 each, which includes a hardcover copy of Fall; or, Dodge in Hell. Tickets can be purchased over the phone at 412.622.8866, online, or at the door starting at 6 pm on the evening of the event.
