Rainbow Reading Group: An LGBTQIA+ Book Discussion Group

Main (Oakland)

Join us to discuss contemporary and classic LGBTQIA+ fiction and nonfiction.

January’s book selection is Spinning by Tillie Walden — A graphic memoir recounts the years Walden spent competitively figure skating, before her developing love of art and first girlfriend causes her to question the insular world of figure skating.

Discussions are free and open to the public. No registration is necessary. We usually have copies of the current month’s book available for you to check out at the Ask a Librarian desk on the First Floor.

Discussions are held in the Director’s Conference Room on the First Floor of the Main Library on the fourth Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. and meets monthly.
