Neighborhood Ambassadors is a community engagement initiative that identifies community members and leaders from neighborhoods throughout the City to act as ambassadors for Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh.
Participants will meet weekly to develop a plan for library and community advocacy while engaging in a series of four learning sessions focused on programs and services that CLP provides.
The Neighborhood Ambassadors project will take place at CLP-Main (Oakland), with four three-hour sessions every Saturday, from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm, starting on September 17. Neighborhood Ambassadors may be asked to attend the Annual Public Meeting in April 2023.
Participants will receive a stipend for attending all sessions.
Applications will be due by August 15th.
