New Locally Produced Title: Darkness Visible

LBPH is proud to share a new locally produced title available for loan or for download from BARD.  Darkness Visible: A Novel of the 1892 Homestead Strike was narrated by volunteer Thelma Snyder, who also sang the Welsh songs that appear throughout the book.  This audiobook was carefully monitored, edited, and produced by the LBPH Studio Team and Volunteers.

He secures a job at the Homestead Works of Carnegie Steel and finds himself embroiled in a conflict between union workers and the chairman of the company Henry Clay Frick.  As Emlyn struggles to find a niche in the New World, he must wrestle with the demons that drove him from the Old. Some violence, and some descriptions of sex.  2012.
