Is there anything better than a perfectly crafted mystery? “Knives Out” is an excellent example. It cleverly shows you what will be important without revealing why, leading to great “ah-ha!” moments.

No piece of the puzzle is hidden, but their meaning often surprises. This is a sign of a great whodunit. What makes this film even better is the way it toys with genre expectations and tropes.

If you want more movies that give you that same feeling, check out these other great titles. Maybe they will help you get hyped for the upcoming “Knives Out” sequel.

All of these items can be requested and picked up at CLP’s curbside pick-up. Find more great movies available to stream on Hoopla.
