Whether you have more time on hand, more stress than you can manage, or are looking for the social connection and creative inspiration you would find at the Library, we are here to help! Even just a little bit of creative activity is a proven way to relieve stress and boost positive feelings.

You might already know that you can access dozens of creative tutorials through Creativebug for free with your library card, and take as many classes as you’d like. If that’s news to you, see this post for more information and instructions on how to sign up.

Once you get situated, you might want to show off some of your new skills – and you’re in luck! As part of our Virtual Lineup, every week in our Creative Course Club on Facebook we are choosing a basic Creativebug course to learn new things while connecting with new friends.  We vote on and select a different course every week, and you’re free to participate along with the group or just watch as everyone shares their work. So far we’ve had folks share their line drawings, mask-making tips, and other creative endeavors. What will you make today?
