Summer Meals are back at the Library!

Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh is participating in the 2025 Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) in order to ensure Pittsburgh youth have access to free food during summer vacation. This is incredibly important because good nutrition is essential for learning!

CLP’s 2025 summer meals and snacks schedule is as follows:

CLP – Allegheny
Monday through Friday (Wednesday, June 18 through Friday, August 15)
Lunch:  12:30 – 1:30 pm

CLP – Beechview
Monday through Friday (Wednesday, June 18 through Friday, August 15)
Snack:  2 – 3 pm

CLP – Brookline
Monday through Friday (Wednesday, June 18 through Friday, August 15)
Lunch:  12 – 1 pm
Snack:  3 – 4 pm

CLP – Downtown
Monday through Friday (Wednesday, June 18 through Friday, August 15)
Snack:  1 – 3 pm

CLP – Hazelwood
Monday through Friday (Wednesday, June 18 through Friday, August 15)
Snack:  3 – 3:30 pm

CLP – Hill District
Monday through Friday (Wednesday, June 18 through Friday, August 15)
Lunch:  12 – 1 pm
Snack: 4 – 4:30 pm

CLP – Homewood
Monday through Friday (Wednesday, June 18 through Friday, August 15)
Lunch: 1 – 2 pm

CLP – Knoxville
Monday through Thursday (Wednesday, June 18 through Thursday, August 14)
Lunch: 12 – 1 pm
Snack: 3:30 – 4

CLP – Main (Oakland)
Tuesday through Thursday (Wednesday, June 18 through Thursday, August 14)
Snack: 2 – 4 pm

CLP – South Side
Monday through Friday (Wednesday, June 18 through Friday, August 15)
AM Snack:  11 am – 12 pm
PM Snack:  3 – 4 pm

CLP – Woods Run
Monday through Friday (Wednesday, June 18 through Friday, August 15)
Lunch:  12 – 1 pm
Snack:  3 – 4 pm


 

Meals are for youth ages 18 and younger and persons with disabilities up to age 21. Food will be provided during the above times each day while supplies last. Please help us spread the word about this service to others in your neighborhood!

Summer Meals are being offered locally in collaboration with Pittsburgh CitiParks as part of the federally funded Summer Food Service Program.
