School’s out for summer, but summer camps are about to begin! Many summer camps across the city visit Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh locations as part of their camp schedule. Because of this, campers participate in the Summer Reading program, win free books, learn and play in our spaces and strengthen relationships with our staff.
The BLAST team has had an exciting start to the 2018-2019 school year! This year, participation has increased to include a total of 31 Pittsburgh Public Elementary Schools. Students in participating schools have found themselves learning everything from pre-coding concepts through gameplay to new vocabulary through movement.
