Carol Robinson has been engaged in the work of Carnegie Library for over two decades. She served in multiple officer positions and was Chair of the CLP Board for four years. During her Board tenure, Carol has assisted in strategy development, planning and fundraising which has resulted in capital improvements across CLP’s branch system and Main.
Carol is actively engaged in Pittsburgh’s philanthropic community where she serves as a board member of several nonprofits and co-chair of a Pittsburgh-based foundation. She is a past president of the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank board.
During her business career, Carol engaged in real estate management and venture investing. In addition, she provided consulting services to area nonprofits and businesses. Carol was Vice President of Gateway Travel Management which was merged into Carlson Wagonlit Travel. Earlier in her career, Carol was Vice President of advertising and public relations for a national retail chain.
Carol graduated with a BA from the University of Pittsburgh, holds a Master of Science in Journalism degree from the Medill School at Northwestern University and a Master of Public Management degree from the Heinz College at Carnegie Mellon University.
