Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh Children's & Teen Specialists offer support for educators working in diverse settings.
We recognize the vital role educators play in our community by providing library programs and services that support them and the personal and academic growth of their students. Educators can bring students to the Library to take a tour, meet with library staff and find out about programs, books and other resources. Library staff actively visit schools and informal learning spaces across the city of Pittsburgh, providing storytimes, STEAM activities, and professional development for practitioners and teaching artists. Educators can visit any Library to sign up for a Teacher Library Card and discuss ways the Library can support their work. Contact any of Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh’s 19 locations to learn more.
