‘Tis the season for lots of baking and then taste-testing your cookies and treats! Whether you are baking for yourself or your family, friends and neighbors, baked goods are a wonderful way to show you care. A small box or bag of homemade treats can brighten anyone’s day.

During my time socially distancing this year I have been watching “The Great British Baking Show” and other fun cooking competitions. I have often wondered how to make the delectable treats they are creating.

Luckily, Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh has a wonderful collection of resources where we can find awesome recipes and techniques to create the most tempting of baked goods, just like in those cooking shows.

You can sign up for a free library card here. If you are new to our eResources, check out these tutorial videos on how to get started.

Looking for a good book, album, movie or TV show? We’re happy to recommend them to you! Use this Personalized Recommendations form to send us some information about what you like and we’ll curate a list just for you.

If you have any additional questions, you can contact a librarian through FacebookInstagram or Twitter. You can also call us at 412-622-3114 or email us at info@carnegielibrary.org.
