Horror Films & Books for Black History Month

Celebrate Black History Month with a selection of horror titles. Black Horror is rich with themes reflecting the experience of Black communities. The significance of family. The role of storytelling. The struggle against oppression and racism. Black filmmakers and writers create art that combines social commentary and genuine scares. Check out these film and book pairings, featuring Black actors, directors and authors with themes that range from “Danger in Disguise” to “Zombie Nightmare.”
