International Horror Films

The horror genre is a transformative one. Familiar everyday objects that one might normally pay no mind to could have lurking within them a latent terror.

A cozy home which hosts a headless specter; a shopping mall teeming with ravenous zombies; a pristine park with killer beavers! (Perhaps the last one is a bit of a stretch…)

Horror stretches our nerves and imagination in thought-provoking as well as frightening ways. Often, horror pulls us into the unknown through the familiar.

So why not be pulled into the unknown through an international lens? After all, what’s familiar to us may not be familiar to others. Prepare to be scared, thrilled and engaged by some of these international horror films!
